Florida Medical Indemnity Insurance

These medical indemnity plans were originally designed as supplemental insurance plans. However, when used alone they become low-cost group health insurance plans. When combined with HRA or Excess Medical coverage, they are extremely cost-effective group plans for every level of employee.

Premium rates on these plans have been constant for years!

If you have an organization where the majority of the employees are minimum or low wage employees, the premiums for traditional health insurance can sink your expansion efforts. Plus, most of the employees cannot afford the group rates for their families. These are group medical indemnity plans with the features of a traditional group PPO plan.

As a standalone group plan, we can offer plans for as low as $125 per employee. This includes prescriptions, well visits, doctor fees and limited hospitalization ($1,000 per day). It even has PPO access and you don't have to pay the doctor up front.

You can increase the benefits and still come in 30-40% less than a regular group plan.

If you add excess medical you have removed all of the serious limitations of this plan. It will still beat the heck out of traditional group. Plus, it is not age or sex banded. So, older employees won't bring your rates up. The rates are the same for the entire state.

You can use limited versions of these plans to cover prescriptions and doctor visits, use an HRA plan for other out of pocket expenses. Then, attach an excess loss or very high deductible group plan to cover catastrophic situations.
